Christian Halloween

I was asked by a member of my group to make something for Halloween with a Christian theme.  It’s one of those holidays that’s so contriversial at times.  It’s one that’s definitely not associated with being Christian.  Does that mean that Christians shouldn’t celebrate it??  I don’t know, but that’s not for a discussion here!!

This member wanted something using “The LORD shall be your light forver.”  That’s from Isaiah 60:19.  I loved the idea of creating something for this.  After all, I’d love to be able to hand something out to my kids for Halloween.  This same member wants me to do a lesson plan for her on this topic.  I’ve taken notes, but haven’t gotten started on it.  It’ll be coming soon!!  Ah, but I wonder off topic.

I made some sucker covers, a 3-pc. leave puzzle, bookmark and envelope, and a door hanger that you can download that has this verse on each item.  I hope that you’ll use them and enjoy them.  What better way to “celebrate” Halloween than to spread the Christian word!!
