6 Weeks Down

I can’t believe that 6 weeks have already passed.  Time sure is flying!!  It’s been such a mild winter that I can even imagine spring just around the corner.  Boy will I be happy too!!  Since I started losing weight, I’m cold all the time.  I mean, a girl really counts on that blubber to keep her warm all winter long!!  HAHA

I’d love to tell you how much weight I’ve lost since the surgery, but I’ve honestly lost track.  I believe it to be between 25 to 30 pounds.  This week I stayed exactly the same….not up nor down.  The week prior, I lost 4 lbs rather quickly.  It’s alright with me that I slowed down again.  I really want my body to keep up with the weight loss.  I need for my exercising to keep me toned and not muscled.  I definitely don’t need the added weight of muscle!!  I want to look good….healthy….not buff. 

Despite the great weather, I haven’t been able to get out and get any new photos.  I am going to be working in my flower beds this weekend though.  No, I’m not planting yet.  They just need all the winter debris removed and the dirt roughed up so they’re ready for spring planting. 

My parents came to visit last weekend and we had a great time.  The only problem is that it went by way too fast!!  Unfortunately, I have an aunt and uncle that are both very sick right now.  It’s my mom’s oldest sister and her husband.  He also happens to be my dad’s best friend since they were kids.  What are the chances on marrying sisters, huh!?!?  I’m worried about them and am just praying for their health and peace.  I also found out tonight that my mom’s youngest sister’s husband is in the hospital too.  Such is life in an aging family.  I remember them all when they were MY age!!

Well, I think that gets you all caught up again.  I know, I still haven’t gotten into a routine to blog more often.  Still working on that one, but I’m thrilled to not be stuck at the computer all day!!  I hope that you all are well, my faithful readers.  Leave me a comment and let me know what you all are up to.
